This video was created by my friend George Salisbury. I stumbled into a link today that he had posted on Facebook. Salisbury’s imaginative visual presentation is growing a vast inventory of his signature liquid, dreamlike interpretation through video. It’s worth a look.
This song “…is about working hard for something and being terrified and exhilarated at the same time,” said Madeleine Jurkiewicz. On the new album “…we arranged all the songs with our friends Kate Siefker and Shannon Hayden. Working with a closer knit team of just four ladies helped tighten our sound and unify each track into a complete collection.”
“I also really wanted to focus more on the bigger picture and write about the experience of being a white woman in America and a college age kid in the 21st century,” said Lily Jurkiewicz.
